Duties & Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, electrical systems, and related truck components Perform preventive maintenance, including brake and suspension repairs, fluid and filter services, and inspections Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and testing procedures Complete repair orders, estimates, and parts lists accurately Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment Follow established safety procedures and industry-standard repair practices
Requirements Required:
Hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic, heavy-truck mechanic, or similar technician Working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues using diagnostic tools Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and diagnostic reports Must provide basic personal tools specialty tools are provided Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Must complete a pre-employment criminal background check
Preferred:
Commercial Driver's License CDL. #PJ1
Compensation:
$32.00 - $50.00/hour starting pay based on experience, certifications, and training Company-provided uniforms
Benefits:
Health and Dental Insurance available the first of the month after 30 days, with 50% employer contribution toward the individual plan
Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays Shifts:
Day shift, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday Flexible hours available Overtime opportunities available
