Looking for experienced, diesel engine mechanic who will work on a variety of heavy duty equipment including tractor-trailers, construction equipment, etc. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and electrical testing equipment Perform repairs on hydraulics, suspensions, brakes—including air brake systems—and steering components Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to repair or modify equipment as needed Assist with assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of vehicle components during repairs or upgrades Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed for compliance and tracking purposes Support heavy lifting operations safely while handling large parts or equipment during repair processes Experience Prior dealership or heavy equipment repair experience is highly preferred but not required Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair across various vehicle types including trucks, industrial equipment, and construction machinery Hands-on experience with schematics reading for electrical systems and mechanical troubleshooting Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures for transmissions, HVAC systems, shocks & struts, wheel alignment, and tire service Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators or forklifts safely and efficiently Experience working with power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and fabrication techniques is a plus Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients Looking for a dependable and experienced tech to join our team!
