Duties & Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on Mack, Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Dodge trucks. Troubleshoot and repair diesel, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems using diagnostic tools and testing procedures. Complete major repairs, including engine and transmission replacements. Inspect and test completed work to confirm trucks are safe, reliable, and ready for service. Maintain accurate service records, maintenance schedules, and parts-usage documentation. Work with drivers and operations leadership to identify performance issues, prioritize repairs, and maintain a clean, safe shop. Requirements

Required:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks.
- Strong diesel, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, preventive maintenance, and diagnostic experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot fleet issues and use hand tools, diagnostic tools, and testing procedures; company tools are supplied.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, communication, teamwork, and attention to detail, with a commitment to safe work practices.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, communicate effectively in English, and work in shop and outdoor conditions involving noise, dust, temperature changes, and moving equipment.
Preferred:
- Experience maintaining and repairing refuse, sanitation, or similar fleet vehicles. #SJ1 Shifts
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Compensation
- $35.00 - $50.00/hour based on experience
