Heavy Diesel Mechanics for different shifts to become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and vehicles. In this role, you will leverage your mechanical expertise to ensure that trucks, , equipment, and construction vehicles operate at peak performance. Your skills will keep operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently across diverse industries. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components of heavy equipment and vehicles. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and alignment checks. Use schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues accurately. Fabricate parts or modify existing components using welding, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific repair needs. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes safely and efficiently during maintenance or repair procedures. Inspect and repair vehicle systems including HVAC systems, shocks & struts, air brakes, steering mechanisms, and vehicle electrical systems. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs performed to ensure compliance with safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a heavy diesel mechanic with dealership or industrial equipment background preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy truck repair, automotive diagnostics, and vehicle systems maintenance. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex machinery. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other fabrication resources. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on large machinery or vehicle components. Knowledge of hydraulics, air brake systems, suspension systems, transmissions, and electrical repairs related to heavy equipment. Pay:

$27.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
