Job Description
MOBILE AND ON SITE DIESEL MECHANIC
Join Mobile Repair, a fast growing independent diesel repair service. You can find us on Facebook. This position is for a mobile mechanic to do work on our company's fleet of equipment as well as third party equipment, either at our shop or in the field. We service all makes and models. Our techs diagnose and repair issues with diesel trucks, construction equipment, and agricultural equipment, and some small vehicles and equipment such as generators and compressors. We do hard things and we do them the right way. If your motor is running, and you are motivated to tackle tough projects, this is the place for you. Here are examples of the things we do- Hydraulic repair, including cylinder seals, fabricating hydraulic lines, repairing or rebuilding pumps, and repairs to hydraulic brake systems. We have a parker press in shop.
- Welding and fabrication of structural components.
- Diagnosis using diesel scanner laptop and similar tools
- Air system repair including air lines, air brakes.
- Research manufacturer specification and interval maintenance
- Research parts and supplies for purchase (parts) orders.
- Other duties as requested.
COMPANY VEHICLE
- You will be assigned a 2015 or later 550 Service truck with crane body, compressor, and welder / generator and a fuel card for commuting to work.
TOOLS AND AND EQUIPMENT
- You must provide your own personal tools (impact, wrenches, sockets, prybars, etc).
- We provide specialized tools such as torches, welder, plasma cutter, alignment machine, jacks, hose crimper, diagnostic laptops, etc. Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years experience
- You must be organized and motivated to help run a first rate repair shop and committed to excellence.
- We use ShopController software and other electronic tools for organizing our work.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- We are looking for professionals committed to their own advancement in the field. Strong communication and customer service skills are required. You are the face of the company when dealing with customers and suppliers.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs or more.
