Job Description
Experienced Heavy-Duty Trailer & Diesel Technician Requirements:
- Experience with DOT compliance
- 2+ years of heavy-duty trailer/chassis repair experience
- Proficiency with brakes, hubs, tires, suspension, and air systems
- Trailer electrical troubleshooting
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Preventive maintenance experience
- Ability to diagnose mechanical problems
- Own basic hand tools
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable attendance
Preferred Qualifications:
- DEF/Emissions experience
- Diesel engine repair
- Reefer service/repair experience
- Transmission repair/rebuilding
- Hydraulic systems experience
- Heavy equipment experience
- AC knowledge
- Advanced electrical diagnostics
- Leadership/mentoring experience
- Please include all current State of Michigan HD Certifications on your resume.
- Possible apprenticeship opportunities available.
Pay:
$25.00- $40.
