Job Description
Schaendorf Custom Farming is a family-owned company. We are looking to add new skilled Diesel Technicians to perform maintenance on our fleet of heavy duty trucks. Pay is based on experience Responsibilities Inspect vehicles to determine needs for diesel maintenance and repairs. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines (diagnose issues, change parts, clean, lubricate, etc.) Maintain accurate records of work performed on vehicles and report any issues. Communicate with management regarding maintenance needs, problems etc. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Other duties as assigned. Experience and Skills Basic knowledge of diesel engines and truck/trailer-trailer brakes Ability to safely operate a manual transmission is a plus. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, operate machinery, and frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with hands and arms. Willingness to learn new skills including but not limited to hydraulic systems, vehicle diagnostic systems, etc.
