We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic or Trailer Mechanic to join our team at Split Rock. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Cummins diesel engines, as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting engine, electrical and various overall mechanical problems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with diesel engines and be committed to providing excellent service and working in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running, requiring minimal supervision & training.

Responsibilities:

Understand and operate diesel engine equipment. Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines. Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and procedures. Utilize OEM software to troubleshoot fault codes Perform preventive maintenance. Use a variety of tools and equipment. Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, brake and tire work. Diagnose and repair miscellaneous trailer repairs as the job flow requires Physically perform the job duties required of a heavy duty diesel mechanic.
