We're looking for more than a parts changer. We want an experienced technician who is confident in electrical diagnostics, drivability, emissions, and engine-performance testing and can accurately diagnose a problem before making the repair. If you have strong diagnostic skills and take pride in figuring out problems other technicians struggle with, we're willing to pay for that ability. What You'll Be Doing Diagnose and repair automotive and light-duty diesel vehicles Electrical and electronic system diagnostics Check-engine light and emissions diagnostics Drivability and engine-performance testing Troubleshoot wiring, sensors, modules, communication systems, and other electrical concerns Use scan tools, meters, and other diagnostic equipment Perform mechanical repairs based on diagnostic findings Accurately identify the cause of a problem and recommend the proper repair What We're Looking For Professional automotive repair experience Strong electrical and diagnostic skills Experience with gas and light-duty diesel vehicles Good understanding of modern vehicle electrical and electronic systems Ability to diagnose problems rather than rely on replacing parts until the problem is solved Ability to work independently and efficiently Dependable and professional Takes pride in quality workmanship Pay & Schedule Pay is based on experience, skill level, and diagnostic ability. We understand that an experienced diagnostic technician is worth more. If you have the ability, experience, and productivity, we're prepared to pay accordingly.
