Job Description

Up to $40.00 per hr. Experience with Ford Medium Duty work trucks a big plus! Consulting the customer and reading work orders to evaluate the tasks required Preparing work plans after fully scoping out the issues Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines and other associated parts Conducting field visits in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance Completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment and brake checks Maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles Proficiency in diagnosing, trouble shooting and repair of all facets of commercial diesel engines as well as drive trains, brakes, suspension, steering, hydraulics, and electrical issues. Must be dependable and able to work in a team environment, complete assignments in an efficient manner, and present self and company in a professional manner. Wage is commensurate with experience, abilities and attitude. State certifications or the ability and willingness to obtain them is a requirement.
