Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic / Technician — $33-$50+/Hour Dynamic Fleet Services is looking for an experienced heavy-duty diesel mechanic/technician to join our shop in the Luna Pier/Monroe area. We aren't looking to fill a chair. We're looking for a mechanic who knows what he's doing. If you're the person everyone brings the difficult diagnostic jobs to, we want to talk to you. If you already have a good job, that's fine too. The best mechanics usually do. All inquiries will be kept confidential.

WHAT WE WORK ON

Our work includes Kenworth, Western Star and other heavy-duty trucks and equipment equipped with Detroit, Cummins and Caterpillar power. Depending on your experience, work may include: Advanced electrical and electronic diagnostics Detroit, Cummins and Caterpillar engines Detroit DT12 automated transmissions Eaton Fuller manual transmissions Air systems and ABS Brakes, suspension, steering and wheel ends Driveline repairs Hydraulics PTOs and pumps Dump trucks and trailers Heavy-haul and Michigan multi-axle equipment Engine repair and overhaul We rebuild Caterpillar and Cummins engines in-house. Engine rebuilding experience is a plus, but it is not required.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're interested in an experienced heavy-duty mechanic who can actually troubleshoot problems—not simply replace parts until the problem goes away. You don't need to know everything. Nobody does. But you should understand heavy trucks, be comfortable diagnosing problems, take pride in your work, and be someone we can count on. PAY $33-$50+ per hour based on experience, diagnostic ability and overall skill level.
