Job Description

Come join our Reyes Fleet team at our Reyes Coca Cola Bottling facility in New Hudson, MI. Seeking a Fleet Diesel Mechanic B to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment at our fleet shop.
Shift:
Full-Time l Monday-Friday-3rd Shift 7:00PM-3:30
AM Pay:
$32.60/HR to start CDL Incentive Pay-Receive an additional $1.00 on hourly rate with active

Union Benefits Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for accurately inspecting, repairing and completing routine preventative maintenance of Fleet Equipment, including standard component inspections and repairs. Complete necessary documentation for repairs and maintenance while maintaining accurate records of work performed, parts used, and repairs/inspections completed through the online AssetWorks system. Vehicles and Fleet Equipment. Learn and assist diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal polices and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practices. This position requires driving Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role.
The Driver Qualification file includes:
an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last three years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMSCA Clearinghouse review. Other projects or duties as assigned
