- 45/hr , based on experience Overtime available Medical, dental, and vision insurance PTO and paid holidays 401(k) with company match Tool allowance and uniforms Stable, year-round work Long-term career growth Responsibilities Perform hands-on diagnostics and repairs alongside other technicians Lead, support, and provide technical guidance to the shop team Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, brake, and mechanical systems Troubleshoot DEF, DPF, EGR, SCR, and aftertreatment systems Help prioritize repairs and keep shop workflow moving Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and fleet repairs Ensure completed repairs meet quality standards Complete paperwork, emails, repair documentation, and service records Communicate with management regarding repairs, parts, and shop needs Qualifications 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred Previous lead, senior technician, or supervisory experience preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience with diesel, electrical, hydraulics, brakes, and aftertreatment systems Comfortable leading technicians while remaining hands-on Basic computer, email, and documentation skills Must own basic hand tools Ability to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed Experienced diesel mechanics ready for a hands-on lead role are encouraged to apply.
