AFTERNOON SHIFT
position with overtime. Experience in diagnosing, repairing, preventive maintenance, Cummins Insite, and the ability to prioritize repairs is a plus. EEO Summary As an Afternoon Shift Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various diesel engines and heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in diesel diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance to address complex issues. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics to identify issues in diesel engines and related systems. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including transmissions, air brakes, and hydraulics. Utilize hand tools and equipment to ensure proper alignment and suspension adjustments. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and enhance service efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proficient in diesel diagnostics and maintenance Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools Expertise in air brake systems and vehicle alignment Familiarity with hydraulic systems and suspension components Ability to perform heavy lifting and tire service tasks
