The Opportunity Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a PLM Engineer specializing in Teamcenter to join our team. The PLM Engineer will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and expansion of the Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management system by providing technical expertise and/or guidance to all levels of the organization as needed. Works within assigned departments to provide specialized technical input to department function.
The PLM Engineer will:
Work with PLM and Configuration Management teams to provide ongoing maintenance to the Teamcenter system (workflows, stylesheets, access control, etc.) Create deployment packages for monthly builds to customize Teamcenter to fit business needs Suggest improvements to existing business workflows to increase efficiency Understand Teamcenter architecture and react to, troubleshoot, and fix issues and incidents that affect one or many users Provides guidance and mentoring to junior team members based on extensive experience, focusing on cross-training and having a backup Keep up with current trends in the PLM space, assessing what would be beneficial to incorporate into business workflows Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required. 5+ years of experience with Teamcenter Rich Client in the following areas: Installation and configuration of BMIDE, workflows, stylesheets, structure manager, access manager, organization, indexer End user support and elevated helpdesk tickets Experience with HTML, XML, Windows Batch, PowerShell, Java, Python Programming experience in
C/C++ ITK
customization Customizing reports of Teamcenter data Teamcenter/NX Managed mode and NX customizations Windows and Linux server administration experience Experience with Jira and Bitbucket/Git, or similar software, and working on a team of software engineers The ability to work independently, leveraging analytical skills to identify and anticipate problems U.S. citizenship is required Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
