Overview Join our dynamic team as a Fleet Mechanic specializing in gasoline and diesel engines! We are seeking a dependable and experienced Fleet Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a fleet of gasoline & diesel-powered vehicles. This role is responsible for keeping vehicles safe, reliable, and ready for daily operations through preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and accurate service documentation. Schedule & Work Environment 3pm-11pm, 5 days Primarily indoors, with occasional roadside repairs required Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on gasoline & diesel-powered fleet vehicles, including oil changes, fluid checks, tune-ups, tire rotations/changes, brake inspections, and safety inspections. Knowledge of electrical systems, and related components a plus. Complete repairs efficiently while following manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and safety standards. Maintain accurate service records, repair orders, inspection reports, and parts usage documentation. Coordinate with fleet managers, drivers, and supervisors to prioritize repairs and minimize vehicle downtime. Road test vehicles as needed to confirm proper repairs and safe operation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Recommend major repairs, parts replacement, or vehicle retirement when appropriate.
