Knight Transfer Services, Inc. is an industry leading waste hauling company. It is a family owned business with over 30 years of experience. We provide roll-off dumpster service throughout the lower half of Michigan and continue to grow. We are looking to add additional mechanics to our maintenance team. It is not to designed to be an exhaustive list rather provide you with a general understanding of expectations.

Responsibilities include:

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy duty trucks Troubleshoot various systems to include electrical, brake, drive train, hydraulic, engine, transmission, suspension, and HVAC Diagnose defects, system failures, or malfunctions through inspection, operation, and/or use of diagnostic equipment Examine parts for damage or excessive wear Identify needed repairs, devise repair plan, and perform corrective action Maintain professional interaction and clear communication with teammates Requirements include: Must posses a great attitude! Must posses a valid CDL Must have the ability to work 10 hour days Must posses a personal tool inventory to allow for the completion of job duties Must be able to lift 50 lbs Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, stand, sit, or climb as needed Must be able to work in an environment with noise and exposure to outdoor weather elements

Pay:

$36.00 - $44.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 per week
