This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who takes pride in quality repairs, accurate diagnostics, and delivering exceptional customer experience. Our dealership services a large population of GMC Sierra HD and commercial fleet customers, providing a consistent workload of diesel repair and maintenance opportunities. We are looking for a technician with strong experience in diagnosing and repairing GM Duramax diesel engines and advanced vehicle systems. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair GM Duramax diesel engines and related systems. Perform advanced diagnostics on engine, electrical, fuel, emissions, drivability, transmission, steering, suspension, and brake systems. Utilize GM factory diagnostic equipment, service information, and repair procedures. Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs according to GM standards. Conduct thorough multi-point inspections and communicate findings clearly. Maintain accurate documentation of diagnostics, repairs, and labor operations. Work collaboratively with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians. Stay current with GM technical training and emerging vehicle technologies. Preferred Qualifications Required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment. Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Highly Preferred Current GM Technician Certification. GM Duramax Diesel Certification and training. ASE Certifications (especially A9 Light Vehicle Diesel Engines and Advanced Engine Performance). 3+ years of dealership diesel repair experience.
