Fleet Mechanic:

Preventative Maintenance Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and scheduled services on fleet vehicles. Complete oil changes, tire services, filter replacements, fluid checks, and other maintenance tasks. Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and mechanical deficiencies. Help extend vehicle life through proactive maintenance and repair recommendations. Ensure all vehicles meet company safety and performance standards. Diagnostics & Repairs Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues using diagnostic equipment and testing procedures. Repair and replace vehicle components including brakes, steering systems, suspension components, batteries, cooling systems, and other critical parts. Troubleshoot engine performance concerns and identify effective repair solutions. Perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Test vehicles after repairs to verify performance and safety. Fleet Reliability & Safety Work to maximize fleet availability by minimizing vehicle downtime. Identify developing mechanical concerns before they become major issues. Prioritize repairs to support operational needs and service reliability. Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to keep vehicles road-ready. Support company safety initiatives through thorough inspections and quality repairs. Shop Operations Maintain detailed service records, repair orders, and maintenance documentation. Accurately document completed work and recommended repairs. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and compliant with safety standards. Assist with inventory management and parts tracking. Follow established maintenance procedures and shop policies. Fleet Mechanic:

Preferred Experience Previous experience as a Fleet Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Service Technician. Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and preventative maintenance practices. Experience working with fleet vehicles, commercial vehicles, taxis, vans, or light-duty trucks preferred. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems effectively. Familiarity with diagnostic software and repair equipment. ASE certifications are a plus but not required. Valid driver's license required.
