Job Description

Overview Leeser TX, Inc. in Palmyra, MO is seeking to hire an experienced diesel mechanic / trailer technician. This will be a full time, year-round position on a regular shift. 1+ years of hands-on diesel mechanic experience (or equivalent technical training) is preferred. A strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, suspensions, brake systems, fuel systems, emission systems and electrical systems is required. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, suspensions, brakes, fuel systems, emission controls, and electrical systems. Perform preventative maintenance on dry van, pneumatic and liquid tank trailers. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacement, tire service, and air brake inspections to keep equipment operating smoothly. Troubleshoot computer systems using diagnostic software. Ensure all repairs meet DOT safety and compliance standards. Operate heavy equipment safely during testing and adhere to safety protocols. Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with shop supervisors, drivers, and managers. Keep your workspace organized, safe, and stocked with the correct tools for the job. Have a valid drivers license (CDL A is a plus). Pay and Benefits Hourly pay from $22 to $30 per hour based on experience and qualifications with overtime opportunities.
