We are looking for an experienced mechanic Diesel Mechanic. Would be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel, gas and propane powered vehicles and equipment. This role ensures all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. They will be responsible for repairs and maintenance projects being completed in a timely manner as well up to all industry standards

Responsibilities:
  • Instructs, directs and supervises the activities of workshop employees.
  • Identifying mechanical issues in a variety of equipment, including engines, brakes, and electrical systems
  • Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and cared for
  • Perform tire pressure checks and rotations and inflate as needed
  • Install new batteries, wiper blades, and air filters
  • Use specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs and installations
  • Assisting in body work projects such as paint, sandblasting, detailing, and light body work
  • Fabricating, rebuilding, and strengthening equipment parts using welding equipment
  • Keeping records of work activities, repairs, and maintenance ...
  • Planning and assigning work, and reprioritizing assignments as needed

  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Must be able to operate a variety of vehicles including manual and automatic
  • Excellent hand and eye coordination
  • Practical knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment
  • Sound problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge with engines, hand tools, power tools, transmissions, and tires
  • Good communication skills written and verbal
  • Computer proficient
Education:
High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Being a team player who strives to get the task done on time and correctly
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality history
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
  • Able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and have frequent contact with other employees, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working large diesel mechanics and diagnostics
  • High school diploma or equivalent now at www.
