Job Description
Job Description Job Summary A well-established construction company is seeking an experienced mobile field diesel mechanic willing to travel to various locations in and around Montana. The ideal candidate would have a minimum five years of experience of heavy equipment/general mechanics. Responsibilities and Duties Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Perform minor and major repairs and regular preventative maintenance and regular diagnostic tests on trucks and trailers o Including trouble shoot and diagnose electric issues as they arise o Including trouble shoot hydraulic issues o Including some welding
- Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed on vehicles using asset management program
Qualifications and Skills Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are needed. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.- 5+ years' heavy equipment/general mechanical experience preferred
- Class A CDL preferred
- Successfully pass pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing
- The applicant should be a team player with strong communication, organizational, time management and prioritization abilities. o Including arriving on time o Including ability to work as scheduled o Including maintaining a good working relationship with all staff
- Ability to complete duties, on time and with absolute precision; ability to edit the accuracy and thoroughness of one's work; ability to constructively apply feedback to improve performance; ability to generate ideas to improve and promote quality in work.

ALTEC & TEREX
experience preferred- Supply majority of own tools
