Mechanic will be responsible for repairs and preventive maintenance Install, replace, re-build or repair the parts and/or equipment in a timely manner and according to specifications. Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns. Coordinates with Shop Manager in scheduling repairs and preventative maintenance. Authorizes or assists in scheduling dealer, shop, and field repairs ensuring warranties are applied. Knowledge of all tools required to perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles. Computer skills as required. Must have own tools. Completed paperwork in a timely and concise manner Follows all safety policies and procedures Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs Physical activities include: walking, lifting, twisting, turning, climbing a ladder, etc Must have a valid driver's license; CDL- A or B is not required but is a "plus." 1+ years truck and/or trailer mechanic experience Diagnostic experience a plus 1+ Aluminum & Steel welding experience Available benefits: Top-Notch On-site fleet maintenance department (24/7) Excellent Equipment 401(k) with matching Disability insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Low-cost Dental & Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Paid Holidays Referral Bonus program Safety Bonus #hilcot
