Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Small Engine / Automotive / Diesel Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of small engines, automotive vehicles, and heavy-duty diesel equipment. Your expertise will ensure that our customers' equipment operates efficiently and reliably, contributing to their success and satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity for technicians who thrive on hands-on work, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional service. Duties Diagnose and repair small engines, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, and other outdoor power equipment. Conduct automotive repairs on cars, trucks, and light commercial vehicles with a focus on diesel engine systems. Perform comprehensive mechanical inspections, troubleshooting electrical systems, schematics reading, and component replacements. Utilize welding and soldering techniques for component fabrication or repair as needed. A Plus. Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, and fluid replacements. Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures involving heavy lifting or hazardous materials to ensure a safe working environment. Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with automotive or small engine repair. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and schematics interpretation. Hands-on experience with equipment repair including generators and heavy machinery. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and diagnostic scanners. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately for troubleshooting complex systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Physical capability for heavy lifting and performing manual tasks in various working conditions. Knowledge of Kubota, Scag, Gravely, Stihl, Husqvarna, Echo, & Ford equipment or other heavy-duty machinery is a plus but not required. Pay:
$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
