High Point / Greensboro, NC & Surrounding Areas About the Opportunity Advanced Maintenance is a growing 24/7 mobile diesel repair and fleet service company serving the High Point, Greensboro, and surrounding Triad area. We are looking for an experienced Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic who can work independently, diagnose problems efficiently, and handle a wide range of truck, trailer, equipment, and roadside repairs. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with strong earning potential, steady work, and greater flexibility than a traditional shop position. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty trucks Perform preventive and corrective diesel maintenance Diagnose diesel engines, electrical systems, air brakes, and related components Repair trailers, forklifts, and other commercial equipment Perform mobile diesel repair and roadside service calls Use company-supplied diagnostic and specialty equipment Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems Perform basic fabrication and field repairs when necessary Maintain and operate a service truck equipped with an air compressor and lube/oil equipment Participate in a rotating overnight/on-call schedule What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of diesel technician/mechanic experience Working knowledge of air brake systems Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability Mechanical and fabrication skills Ability to work independently in the field Must have your own professional tools and toolbox No tool bags or buckets Clean driving record with no major driving infractions Dependable, professional, and able to communicate with customers and dispatch What We Provide $52.50-$75.00 per hour Potential to earn $80,000-$100,000+ annually Steady workload Company service vehicle Company-supplied diagnostic equipment Specialty tools and equipment 24/7 operational and dispatch support Opportunity to increase earnings based on experience, availability, and efficiency Ready to Apply?
