Job Description
Anson County Landfill in Polkton NC has an immediate opening for a safety-minded Diesel Mechanic who takes pride in maintaining equipment and helping keep our drivers and communities safe.
What Youll DoPerform inspections diagnostics repairs and preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and equipment.
Repair electrical hydraulic suspension brake and air systems.
Utilize vehicle diagnostic software to identify and resolve issues.
Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs).Complete maintenance documentation using fleet software.
Test drive equipment after repairs.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Assist team members and perform other duties as assigned.
What Were Looking ForMinimum 2 years of experience required performing diesel equipment diagnostics repairs and preventative maintenance.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Basic mechanic tool set.
Class B CDL preferred but not requiredHydraulic experience is a plus.
