Responsibilities of Diesel Technician:
This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel trucks, school buses, and fleet vehicles (60% Buses and 40% Trucks). Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, conducting inspections, completing repairs, diagnostic testing, warranty work, DOT inspections, and general fleet maintenance Work may involve diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, steering and suspension systems, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and other heavy-duty vehicle components on trucks, buses, and commercial fleet equipment Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer As a diesel technician you will work in a clean safe environment Please be on the lookout for a (774) area code calling you.
