Job Description
We are Seeking a well rounded Diesel Engine Tech for a Semi Truck repair shop. The job requires the tech to be able to perform diagnostic and repair of semi truck engines including , Cat, Cummins Detroit, Paccar, Volvo/Mack and the occasional Maxxforce or Mercedes. You must have a good if not excellent understanding of electronics. We understand this is a broad range and do not expect anyone to be mastered at all of them. We prefer someone who is honest with themselves about their skill set and has a strong desire to develop themselves. We are happy to provide training once the tech has shown effort to bein themselves. In other words, We do not push you to grow, that is entirely up to you. However we are not interested in stagnant people. The position requires that you have a more advanced tool set and lockable toolbox. We provide all specialty tools. You will be required to be organized and keep your toolbox and work area clean and orderly. Our shop is very well laid out because shop space in the Bakken is limited. We are in process of building and additional shop to have more space in the next 12 months. We work primarily inside of a shop but will work outside when required. We do not do roadside repair. We offer hourly pay every two weeks by direct deposit. We have Medical, Dental and Optical available. There are 6 paid holidays a year and paid vacation. Our hours are Monday through Friday 7 am to 5 pm with occasional Saturday work. Sometimes a situation might call to work an hour or two later than standard hours. #hc258416
