Job Responsibilities for a Service Technician / Diesel Mechanic Work schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00-5:00 The position will involve, but not be limited to, the following: Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on class 6 to class 8 heavy-duty trucks Excellent troubleshooting capabilities within all heavy-duty truck and trailer systems componentry.

For example:

hydraulics, engines, electrical, drive train, suspension, HVAC, braking systems, etc. Proactively maintain a safe and clean work environment Work independently, as well as part of a team Candidates must have mechanical ability/ skills/ knowledge; ability to lift up to 50 pounds, basic math skills, tools, and the ability to read & understand manuals/ diagrams. You must be able to bend, stoop, twist, carry, push, pull, and go up/down steps. Preference given to candidates who are self-motivated, detail oriented , have 3+ years of experience in a related field, strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new skills quickly, and a desire for career advancement.
