What You'll Do As a Mobile Crane & Diesel Mechanic, you'll take ownership of maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of heavy equipment, keeping operations running safely and efficiently. In this role, you will: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and diagnostics on diesel engines, cranes, trailers, forklifts, and more Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, including onboard computer systems Work both in the shop and in the field, giving you a mix of stability and variety Operate independently, managing your day-to-day workload while collaborating with the team Travel occasionally to support field service needs Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM
- 3:30 PM, with flexibility based on project demands.
Required:
1-3+ years of diesel or heavy equipment mechanic experience Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Ability to work independently and manage workload without constant supervision Must provide your own standard tools (specialty tools provided) Willingness to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environmentPreferred:
Experience with cranes or heavy lifting equipment CDL Class A (or ability to obtain) Experience reading electrical and hydraulic schematicsAdditional Expectations:
