Job Description
PODS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Transportation & Logistics operations within the Facilities & Maintenance department. In this hands-on role, you'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on containers, facility equipment, and yard assets to keep operations safe and reliable. You'll troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, conduct inspections, document work in a CMMS, and support loading equipment use in a fast-paced environment. Working with a customer-first, safety-focused team, you'll help reduce downtime, improve reliability, and gain growth opportunities across PODS' nationwide network. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PODS containers, facility equipment, and yard assets to ensure safe, reliable operations. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, basic electrical, and hydraulic issues on material-handling and facility systems. Conduct inspections of containers, docks, doors, and site infrastructure; document findings and complete work orders in a CMMS. Support loading, unloading, and staging of containers using forklifts and related equipment while following safety procedures. Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to minimize equipment downtime and prioritize critical repairs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to OSHA, company, and industry safety standards. Assist with minor facility projects, installations, and improvements to support growing transportation and logistics operations.
