Job Description

Ford of Claremont is in need of a experienced Diesel Technician! We are extremely busy and are looking to add a experienced diesel technician to our team. SKILLS and DUTIES Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repairs Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs Pay is based on diesel experience.
QUALIFICATIONS MUST
have diesel experience Ability to reach and to lift materials/parts weighing up to 50 lbs. ASE Certificate preferred but not required Experience in auto maintenance and repair or auto mechanic training required. Skilled in the operation of shop machinery (Tire Machine, Wheel Alignment Machine etc) Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service The ability to work overhead and bent over for long periods of time High school diploma or equivalent required Basic computer software skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid Driver's License (required) Must have own tools (required) Must have a clean motor vehicle record (required)
