Burlington, NJ Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Russian Portuguese Full Job Description Join Our Team United Brakes & Clutch Corp. is looking for an experienced Heavy Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team. We service a wide variety of commercial vehicles, including semi trucks, trailers, RVs, motorhomes, vacuum trucks, fire trucks, and other heavy-duty equipment. We are looking for a dependable technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and can work independently as well as with a team. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance (PM services) on trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles Diagnose and repair engines Remove and install clutches Diagnose and repair manual and automatic transmissions Perform brake system repairs on trucks and trailers Replace tires on trucks and trailers Diagnose and repair suspension and steering components Repair air brake systems and air leaks Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs Repair cooling systems and driveline components Inspect vehicles and recommend needed repairs Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications 3+ years of experience repairing heavy trucks and trailers preferred Experience working on semi trucks, trailers, RVs, motorhomes, vacuum trucks, or similar commercial vehicles Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to perform repairs with minimal supervision Valid driver's license required CDL is a plus, but not required Welding and fabrication experience is a plus What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual Positive attitude and strong work ethic Team player Detail-oriented with quality workmanship Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop Join us to leverage your mechanic experience in a fast-paced environment that values safety, precision, and continuous improvement!If you have experience maintaining and repairing heavy trucks and commercial vehicles and are looking for a long-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
