Semi-Truck Maintenance Technician Location:
New Jersey Pay:
$18/hour Job Summary We are looking for a reliable Semi-Truck Maintenance Technician to join our team. We specialize in mechanical repair for commercial trucks (no body or exterior work). This role is great for someone with basic to intermediate mechanical experience who wants to grow their skills in heavy-duty truck maintenance. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on semi-trucks, including oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements Inspect tires, brakes, belts, and hoses for wear Assist senior mechanics with repairs and diagnostics as needed Keep accurate maintenance and service records Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all shop safety procedures and protocols Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge/experience (heavy-duty or diesel experience a plus) Willingness to learn and take direction Own basic hand tools Valid driver's license Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
