Performs preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic components. Uses diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical problems and ensures all repairs are completed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Repairs our owned fleet of Straight Trucks, Tractor Trailers, And specialized flatbeds (Chassis, Stepdecks, Double Drops) Diagnose and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems. Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections. Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues. Repair and replace defective or worn components. Use diagnostic equipment and hand tools to identify problems. Perform oil changes, filter replacements, brake repairs, and other maintenance services. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed. Follow safety procedures and manufacturer specifications. Ensure vehicles and equipment are safe and reliable for operation. Cualifications 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Technician. Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems. Experience using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools. Ability to perform preventive maintenance and general repairs. Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and repair specifications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license required.
