Join a Growing Team Mustang Transportation is growing fast and keeping our fleet in top shape is critical to our success. We are looking for a skilled, dependable Fleet Maintenance Technician / Bus Mechanic who takes pride in quality work and understands the importance of keeping vehicles safe, reliable, and road-ready. If you are someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and being part of a team that values safety, accountability, and professionalism, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Inspect, maintain, and repair buses, motor coaches, and support vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues quickly and accurately. Perform preventative maintenance including oil changes, filter cleanings and changes, fluid services, brake inspections, tire maintenance, and scheduled servicing. Complete repairs on diesel engines, air brake systems, suspension components, HVAC systems, and related equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts usage documentation. Coordinate with operations personnel to ensure vehicles are available and road-ready. Conduct vehicle inspections and identify potential issues before they become major repairs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Participate in an on-call rotation to assist with breakdowns and emergency maintenance needs when required. What We're Looking For Experience working with diesel engines, buses, commercial vehicles, trucks, or heavy equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of repairs from diagnosis to completion. Familiarity with diagnostic software, electronic troubleshooting tools, and modern vehicle systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with drivers, dispatchers, and management. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to learn new systems and adapt as our company continues to grow. Available to be on call when necessary. Preferred Qualifications CDL Class B or higher with air brake, and passenger endorsements. Previous bus, motor coach, school bus, or commercial fleet experience.
