Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy equipment and automotive repair, with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and other critical systems. This role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy duty and light duty vehicles. Duties Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC systems, and electrical components using schematics and diagnostic tools Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, and air brake system inspections Fabricate parts or components as needed for equipment repair or customization Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs accurately Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards during all maintenance activities Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair status and recommendations Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic software Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic Service Technician or similar role within a dealership or heavy equipment environment Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, transmissions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and electrical systems Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems Experience working with farm machinery, industrial equipment, tractor-trailers, or similar vehicles is preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Physical ability to perform manual labor including heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions Relevant certifications or training in automotive repair or heavy equipment maintenance is advantageous This position requires a dedicated professional committed to quality workmanship and safety. Pay:

$19.00 - $40.00 per hour
