FleetPride is hiring a Diesel Technician II in Pleasant Valley, NY! This is our mid-level technician role for someone who can confidently diagnose and repair a wide variety of heavy-duty trucks and trailers — from routine PMs to complex engine, electrical, drivetrain, and aftertreatment repairs.

• What You'll Be Doing As a Diesel Technician III, you'll work on a wide variety of heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including: Preventative maintenance & DOT inspections Air brake systems Electrical diagnostics & schematics Starting & charging systems Wheel ends, steering & suspension Cooling systems A/C diagnostics & repairs Drivetrain components Transmissions & clutches Differentials Aftertreatment systems Upper & lower engine repairs Diagnostic troubleshooting And everything in between!

You'll also have the opportunity to mentor and assist other technicians and help maintain FleetPride's high standards for safety and quality. What We're Looking For 5+ years of heavy-duty truck/trailer repair experience preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and efficiently Willingness to coach and assist other technicians Strong communication skills with managers, service writers, customers, and teammates Own tools and toolbox Valid driver's license CDL is a plus, but not required Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
