Job Description

Shop Supervisor Cassens Transport Co Niagara Falls, NY Join a leader in the automotive transportation industry since 1933! Cassens Transport is dedicated to delivering finished vehicles to their destinations with our team of professional drivers. Cassens Transport Company is dedicated to successfully providing premier automotive logistics services by utilizing the best people, best methods, and best technology. We shall accomplish these high standards of quality performance through the active participation of the organization's most important resources, our employee team members and partner-suppliers. We are in search of a shop supervisor to oversee mechanics working on our car haul tractor trailers. You would be responsible for assigning daily work, managing parts, communicating with dispatch, and processing any necessary paperwork.
Starting Pay:
$1200 weekly Duties include, but not limited to: Supervise union mechanics in a carhaul maintenance shop Prioritize and delegate work to mechanics Communicate with dispatch on truck availability Process shop paperwork such as work orders, invoices, filing, etc. Order and receive parts as needed Handle road calls for trucks broke down Maintain a safe, clean, and productive atmosphere
Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma required Post secondary education an asset Previous experience in tractor trailer maintenance shops an asset Basic Computer skills (Gmail, Google Docs, Excel and Word) General mechanical knowledge Previous industry experience an asset
Skills & Attributes:
Multitasking Eager to learn Organized Good communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to lead Time management
