This role supports a wide range of industry-leading brands, including Freightliner, Western Star, Isuzu, Cummins, Hino, and Detroit, requiring strong diagnostic skills and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed inspections of diesel engines and commercial vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements, and system checks to maintain peak performance. Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using advanced diagnostic tools and manufacturer-specific systems. Repair and service vehicles across multiple brands, including Freightliner, Western Star, Isuzu, Cummins, Hino, and Detroit engines. Complete repairs on engine components, electrical systems, and other critical mechanical parts efficiently and accurately. Maintain precise documentation of all maintenance and repair work for service records and compliance. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors to ensure timely turnaround and minimal downtime. Stay up to date with evolving diesel technologies, tools, and best practices across all supported manufacturers. Follow all safety standards and procedures while operating equipment and performing repairs. Provide excellent customer service by clearly explaining diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance recommendations.Benefits:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a formal diesel technology or automotive program from a technical school or community college is preferred.Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a diesel technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry. Experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems. Proven track record of performing routine maintenance and inspections on diesel vehicles and equipment.Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of diesel engine systems, including fuel injection, turbocharging, and exhaust systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to diesel engine maintenance and repair.
