We are seeking an experienced and dependable Diesel Mechanic / Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and service a variety of heavy-duty trucks, agricultural equipment, and construction machinery. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure equipment reliability and maximum uptime. Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures. Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on diesel-powered equipment. Repair and maintain heavy-duty trucks, tractors, combines, loaders, excavators, skid steers, dozers, and other agricultural and construction equipment. Troubleshoot engine, transmission, drivetrain, brake, suspension, steering, and hydraulic systems. Utilize computerized diagnostic tools and software to identify equipment issues. Inspect equipment for safety concerns and recommend necessary repairs. Replace or rebuild engines, transmissions, differentials, hydraulic pumps, cylinders, and related components. Conduct welding, fabrication, and minor machining repairs as needed. Read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and repair procedures. Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts usage documentation. Perform field service repairs at customer locations when necessary. Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Communicate repair findings and recommendations to customers and management. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Technical school certification in Diesel Technology preferred. 3+ years of experience repairing and servicing diesel engines and heavy equipment. Strong knowledge of Heavy-duty truck systems, Hydraulic and electrical systems, and Diesel engine diagnostics and repair. Experience with OEM diagnostic software and electronic control systems. ASE, OEM, or diesel mechanic certifications preferred, not required Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required. Ability to operate forklifts, loaders, and other equipment safely. Own basic mechanic tools. Experience working with brands such as Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth, and International. Welding and fabrication experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Effective communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize multiple repair tasks in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Typical Experience Requirement:

3-10+ years servicing heavy-duty trucks, agricultural machinery, and construction equipment with strong diagnostic, hydraulic, electrical, and engine repair experience.
