Job Description Walgre Transport Inc. is hiring an experienced Senior Diesel Mechanic / Diagnostic Technician for our Columbus, Ohio maintenance facility. We operate a company-owned fleet of International LT, Freightliner Cascadia, and Volvo VNL tractors . This is a senior-level position for a technician with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability. Diesel diagnostic experience is required. What We Offer $40-$50 per hour , based on experience Weekly pay Overtime opportunities 100% company-paid employee health, dental, and vision insurance Family coverage available 401(k) Paid vacation and PTO Company-provided uniforms Employee referral bonuses Modern diagnostic equipment and specialty tools Stable, year-round fleet work Responsibilities Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, engine, and emissions issues Troubleshoot using diagnostic software, wiring diagrams, fault codes, and testing equipment Identify root causes before replacing components Repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, driveline, and electrical systems Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance Verify repairs before equipment returns to service Assist other technicians with difficult diagnostic issues Accurately complete work orders and maintenance records Qualifications Strong diesel diagnostic and troubleshooting experience - REQUIRED Minimum 3 years of diesel mechanic experience Class 8 truck repair experience Strong electrical troubleshooting skills Knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes, suspension, and aftertreatment systems Ability to work independently and efficiently Valid driver's license

CDL, DOT

inspection certification, ASE certification, and fleet experience are preferred but not required.
