Description Lead Diesel Technician - Fleet Mechanic Pay will be commensurate with experience Are you an experienced technician looking for a good new opportunity? We'd like to talk with you! Join our team providing excellence in customer service and safety while providing fleet maintenance including engine, transmission, and electrical diagnosis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Repairs and maintains customer vehicles and mechanical equipment such as engines, transmissions, and other equipment by performing the following duties: Perform PMIs on tractors, trailers and other diesel-powered equipment. Perform all types of engine, brake, drive train, electrical, and A/C repairs. Test drive vehicles. Assist and lead other technicians PHYSICAL and
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance. Must be able to read and write reports. Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. ?
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid driver license Must be willing to Get a CDL if you don't have one.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION
Minimum 7 years diesel tech experience required Certificate or Degree from Diesel Training Program Preferred Clarke is over 60 years strong and growing.
