  • Opportunity to grow into a leadership/management role About the Job DuraFleet Cleveland East is looking for an experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to help build our Northeast Ohio operation.
You'll provide on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for commercial fleets throughout Lake, Geauga, Cuyahoga, Portage, and surrounding counties . If you're tired of flat-rate work, shop politics, or working in the same bay every day, this position offers independence, variety, stable hourly pay, and the opportunity to grow with the company. What You'll Do
  • Preventive maintenance and fleet inspections
  • Diesel and gas diagnostics
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Brakes, steering, suspension, and general repairs
  • Light
  • medium
  • and heavy-duty commercial vehicles
  • Trailer maintenance and repairs
  • Mobile repairs at customer facilities and fleet yards
  • Complete digital work orders, inspections, and documentation
  • Communicate professionally with fleet customers What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of diesel, commercial fleet, truck, or heavy-equipment experience; 5+ years preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with scan tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Must provide personal hand tools
Bonus:
ASE certifications, CDL, DOT inspection experience, air brakes, trailers, hydraulics, liftgates, welding, or previous mobile fleet experience. Schedule
