Job Description

Ohio Valley Waste (Warren) is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assess, diagnose, and repair heavy diesel trucks.
  • Also service light service equipment and light trucks.
  • Typical repairs include but are not limited to: hydraulic, fuel, exhaust, brake, suspension, electrical, and emission systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Adaptable to changing work environments, competing demands, and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 3 years experience troubleshooting and repairing problems with heavy diesel trucks.
  • Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots.
  • Employees must provide their own tools and locking tool box.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to sit/stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, crouch/crawl, and push/pull required.
  • Ability to lift/carry upwards of 50-75 lbs.

$24.00
