- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using automotive diagnostic tools
- Inspect, test, and align components to ensure proper functioning
- Assemble and disassemble engines and other machinery parts
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Proficient in using power tools and automotive diagnostic equipment
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
- Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes
- Experience working with Caterpillar equipment is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy equipment for testing and maintenance purposes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks This position requires a skilled Diesel Mechanic who can effectively diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy equipment.
