Overview Join our dedicated team in El Reno, OK, as a Mechanic specializing in Diesel engines for utility trucks $ equipment, diesel trucks, buses, and refuse vehicles. We are looking for a skilled professional who is passionate about maintaining and repairing heavy-duty vehicles. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines, including trucks, buses, and refuse vehicles. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. Inspect and test vehicle systems, including brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems. Replace or repair defective parts and components as needed. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Collaborate with team members to improve shop efficiency and safety practices. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred. Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably with trucks, buses, or refuse vehicles. Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and components. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
