In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty equipment, including construction machinery, industrial vehicles, and farm machinery. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting our ongoing operations and customer service commitments. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, air brakes, and suspension components using schematics and diagnostic tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on construction machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other heavy equipment to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards. Fabricate parts or modify existing components as needed to ensure optimal equipment performance. Troubleshoot equipment issues through electrical diagnostics, automotive diagnostics, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Complete repairs including brake repair, wheel alignment, welding, tire service, power tool operation, and HVAC system servicing. Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards. Assist in heavy lifting tasks and perform equipment assembly or disassembly as required for repairs or upgrades. Experience Proven experience working as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician in dealership or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of construction machinery maintenance, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair practices. Hands-on experience with electrical systems diagnostics, hydraulics troubleshooting, and schematics interpretation. Familiarity with OEM parts sourcing and repair procedures for Caterpillar and other major brands. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques safely and effectively. Prior experience servicing farm machinery or industrial equipment is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
