Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a entry level Diesel Mechanic Service Technician to join our team. This role involves repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment, including industrial equipment, and vehicle fleets. The ideal candidate will have some experience with diesel engines, automotive diagnostics, and heavy equipment operation. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced tools and technologies in a dynamic environment dedicated to quality service and safety. Responsibilities Perform repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brake systems. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, alignment, and shocks & struts replacement. Repair and fabricate components using hand tools, power tools, welding, and soldering techniques. Operate heavy machinery safely during troubleshooting or repair processes as needed. Maintain detailed service records for all repairs and maintenance performed. Assist with assembly or disassembly of equipment for repair or upgrade projects. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Skills Some mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and electrical components. Some skills in the use of hand tools, power tools, alignment devices, and maintenance equipment. Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions. This position is ideal for experienced mechanics who are passionate about maintaining heavy-duty equipment across diverse industries while ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
