Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Maintenance Technician specializing in Tractor, Trailer, and Reefer systems. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will keep our fleet running smoothly, enabling efficient operations across various transportation and logistics functions. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, suspensions, hydraulics, and HVAC components of tractor-trailers, reefers, and related equipment Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues effectively Conduct fabrication tasks such as welding, assembly, and modifications to support equipment repair or customization needs Replace or repair shocks & struts, tires, brakes, alignments, power tools components, and perform wheel alignments to ensure vehicle safety and compliance Maintain detailed service records and logs for all repairs performed Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules while adhering to safety standards Skills Proven dealership or heavy equipment repair experience with strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and automotive diagnostics Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering; capable of working with hand tools and power tools effectively Familiarity with schematics for electrical systems, hydraulics, suspension components, HVAC systems, and transmissions Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and regulations specific to tractor-trailers and reefers; including brake repair, tire service, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical issues Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients about repairs or maintenance needs Join us as a Diesel Maintenance Technician if you're eager to apply your mechanical expertise in a vibrant environment that values safety, innovation, and teamwork.
